  1. Tapestry

    Lead Engineer, Front-End Development

    June 2022 - currently

    Job Description
    • A key contributor within Tapestry's Interactive Development and hands-on development Tech lead/Senior Developer also took on a manager role.
    • A mentor and help with the career development of the CMS team.
    • Took part of in Program Increment Planning that happened quarterly, where multiple teams would go over plans for future Quarter. We would discuss future sprints and go over what expected work would be needed for the next quarter(s).
    • Also participated Sprint Planning in a bi-monthly scrum meetings. I would create Jira tickets for various web improvements for the code base for the CMS team as well as Design System team.
    • Also participated in code reviews and merging in code at the end of each sprint.
    • Worked closely UX and Design Teams to develop new and exciting components as well as modify existing ones.
    • Provided documentation/Confluence pages for best web practices and guidelines for the two teams I was leading (the CMS team as well as Design System team) as well as other teams in the organization.
    • Helped develop and maintained the Design System and creating all the design tokens for all the North America, Japan, Europe and German brands under the Tapestry umbrella (Coach, Coach Outlet, Coachtopia, Kate Spade, Kate Spade Surprise and Stuart Weitzman).

    Front-End Content Developer | Web Performance Engineer

    Job Description
    • Responsible for creating and maintaining web content with seamless collaboration with cross-functional partners in order to deliver time-critical production updates.
    • Perform in-depth quality assurance on both creative materials and technology functionality.
    • Collaborated with stakeholders across all parts of the business to help create a performance culture (Product, Testing, Tagging, Engineering, Architecture and Web Producers).
    • For each brand refresh, I would run WebPageTest in staging site and analyze the scores and compare to previous refreshes. I would check Google Core Web Vitals, (mainly LCP and CLS) are aligned and under our threshold.
    • Analyzed and created performance tickets to improve Google Core Web Vitals and performance metrics and at the end of each month, I would do a comparison review of Chrome UX Report dashboard.
    • Used Cloudflare Workers in conjunction with WebPageTest to test performance optimizations and show actual improvements so product can prioritize our tickets correctly.
